The notion of incurable diseases is completely smashed by the miraculous healing power of ancient herb formulations, as demonstrated by Chinese Medical Doctor, Dr. Ke Li, in recent time.

Dr. Li was never schooled in Chinese Medicine, but learned it by himself study. Soon after the founding of new China, he was subject to prosecution. As a way of punishment, he was putted in a backward rural area, where medical practice was not strictly regulated by hospital rules and regulations. He devoted himself to treating diseases for the poor with little desire to make money. His miraculous performance soon shocked the Chinese medical field: he routinely used herbs to treat emergence patients. Chinese medical doctors had a reputation of being ?slow doctors? that can only treat chronic diseases, but could not address emergence patients. His practice broke with this tradition. His success stories in treating terminal and near-death patients broken all records that we are aware of. It appears he is the only Chinese medicine doctor who has used herbal formulations as the last resort for saving near-death patients.

His detailed case reports reflect that the holistic approach and fast treatment process. He even created a new treatment model: He had to use quick four traditional diagnostic methods to diagnose diseases, designed a formulation, cooked herbs using a strong fire, and immediately started feeding patients with herb extracts while continuing cooking the herbs. He would keep feeding herb extracts while checking patient conditions by using four classical diagnostic methods. This practice would break up every rule and regulation, and convention and teachings. In treating near-death patents, he knew that speed is the only thing and everything. He had no time for doing things by the book. His successful stories seem to defy the wide-held belief that healing diseases is very slow.

He quickly gained a great reputation in the locality. When a hospital ran out of treatment measures for a patient, the hospital might give the patient to him; if a hospital was unable to handle a complex condition, he would be invited for consultation. Patients from other cities and provinces came to ask him for help. The world changed upside down: Herbal medicine become the last resort for terminal and near-death patients. His overall successful rate in treating patients was more than 90%. He cured more than thousands of patients including nearly a hundred near-death patients (for those, hospitals had issued emergence notice to their family members). Based upon his own assessment and verified records, he could revive near-death patients by 60%-70% chances.

In 1990, after his retirement, he founded "Chinese Medicine Critical Care Clinics". He was invited as a special member of the editorial board of "Chinese Medicine Research." In 2010, Li Ke Chinese Traditional Medicine School and Ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine Complex Diseases Clinic were established in Southern Hospital of Guangzhou. Dr. Li was listed as experts in "China Expert Talent Pool" and "World Outstanding Expert Dictionary" and so on. Doctor Li is well known for using heavy doses of herbs to rescue emergency patients and to treat incurable/complex diseases. Before his death in 2013, he wrote "Li Ke Emergent and Critical Disease Treatment Experience Monograph" in 2002.

What Dr. Li did actually repeated the performance level of Chinese Medicine at least 1700 year ago. He made several improvements. First, what he did was that he dramatically increased the doses or amounts of herbs. From his practice, he gradually figured out that right formulations and higher doses were the key for successful revival of terminal patients. For years, he questioned the dosages provided in old formulations passed down from early generations. In 1981, an archaeological discovery of ancient weight unit in China exposed a deep secret: the weight units once used in ancient herb prescriptions were misunderstood by doctors in later generations. In other words, due to weight unit changes, doctors used only about 1/6 to 1/10 of doses that were originally intended in early times. Doctor Li believed that such small dosages could not cure diseases. Second, he ignored all existing rules to speed up how to deal with emergence patients. He knew he normally had 1 to 3 hours time windows for many patients. In his career, he created 28 formulations by combining herbs from different existing formulations.

The biggest miracle is his formulation for treating heart failure and multiple organs failure.

Miracles I Have Experienced

All kinds of diseases

I was born in a medicinal family. Routine abuse of antibiotic drugs caused me to lose tolerance to prescription drugs. I knew that my liver and kidneys would fail if I continued using antibiotic drugs. In about 1980, I started learning Qigong. Qigong helped me end using antibiotic drugs.

My past experience forced me to avoid using medical services, prescription drugs and medical treatment unless it is necessary to save life. I did not have an single annual physical check for the last 30 years (other than brief checkup in connection with minor corrective operations).

In the early years, I learned a lot about exercise, but get very little. However, the relaxation component helped me the most.

30-year Hip Joint Pain:

In 2001, my hip joint dull pain bothered me. This joint had been injured in a Ping Pong game before 1970. The joint pain had bothered me for nearly 30 years. I knew that circulating Qi can heal problem (directly used mind to raise conscious level in a target tissue). Then, I had no capacity of circulating Qi at will. To relieve a dull pain in the hip joint, I made a hopeless try for hours. By strike of luck, I felt hot feeling and then quickly release the pain. The condition kept improving. In about two years, all residual symptoms disappeared without a trace. That miracle changed my life: I can scan the inner body.

That was first time I get the importance of relaxation. Then, I figure out what is important is how to do exercises. I kept experiencing ?small? miracles. I will mention a few of them.

Tissue Structural Change:

One of my fingers had cracked skin, which was possibly caused by chemical attacks. It might have started from 1985 to 1992. In each winter, the finger skin cracked severely. This winter I found that skin feature in my finger had completely changed. My own explanation is that intense Qi that I generated had caused stem cells to differentiate different kind of skin cells, and thus resulted in a change of tissue structure. A similar problem in a vital organ would mean premature death.

Scar Tissue Disappearance:

I had a bad scar in one finger. It was always visible for more than four decades and numbness feeling always reminded me whenever the finger tip contacts something. This scar is no longer visible and the numbness is barely perceivable. Non-scaring healing is an ability once existed in human genetics. It slowly disappears. Now, the ability still exists in oral inner area, uterus, etc. However, it happened on my finger by a total surprise.

Eye View Improvement:

I always could see floaters (which are very common). At some time, I started seeing ?millions of small black spots? when I looked at the white sky. From conducting extensive internet searches, I concluded most probable causes were bleeding, inflammation in retina or relevant neurons. There is no clue how to cure it. Now, I realize that this incurable symptom is gone. I did not know when the symptom disappeared.

Relief of 30-year Pollen Allergy:

I generally do not use medical services, prescription drugs, and physical checkup. I would use medical services as the last resort. I must rely upon subjective signs and feeling. My exercise program has helped me rebuild my vascular system. Changes in health condition allow me to determine what has changed. Now, I realize that my severe allergic reaction to pollen has dramatically reduced. For 30 years, I had to wash my nose the first thing when I went to work; but I visited gardens in this spring the first time in 30 years. As a result of this I start model study to understand how micro-vascular networks impact allergic reactions and inflammation.

Cold/Flu and Cuts:

I routinely used Qi to treat cuts and small wounds. Circulating Qi around cuts can dramatically speed up healing process and reduce the chance of getting infection and inflammation. Retroactive comparison allows me to find that 30 subjective signs have disappeared as a result of doing exercises. The exercises have improved my micro-vascular networks so that the tissues in the respiratory track can clear inflammatory by-products more efficiently and thus dramatically reduce inflammatory reactions.

Strangely, mind exercise does not always produce what I wanted but surprised me with unintended health benefits. That can be explained by three mechanisms: organ-organ interactions, immune functions and stem cells activities. They always have global holistic impacts. Stem cells normally generate tissue cells like those in the tissue. When stem cells are in a normal tissue, they generate normal tissue cells; if they are in a tumor, they generate tumor cells. Those mechanisms always have wider impacts.

Exercises with strong design to change Qi can modulate all three mechanisms and thus create miracles.

Some methods like physical instruments are not mentioned because they can generate effects similar to massage.

All of those methods can be used to raise Qi levels in diseased tissues and can upgrade the tissue quality. However, since each components can raise Qi for only limited time, one must do it for a sufficiently long time to meaningfully change Qi levels so that the improved Qi would cause stem cells to change their behaviors.

Mysteries of Sweat as Prevention of Joint Diseases

Arthritics in humid regions

We note that humidity and high temperature exist together. In cold area, air cannot carry high amount of moisture (this is due to well known dew point) Humidity cannot be very high in a cold region. In the U.S., high humidity is in southern states. In comparison, northern states are both cool and dry. Thus, the most direct cause must be high humidity at high temperature. In a cold weather, it is impossible for the air to carry a high amount of moisture. The air in southern states can carry much more water per volume. This hot-and-humid climate thus can have following impacts:

(1) When temperature and humidity are both high, the high temperature causes the body to perspire, resulting in sweat on the skin; and at the same time, the sweat cannot be dried reasonably fast due to high relative humidity. So, the sweat will be dried only in part and all minerals and compounds are thus concentrated while new sweat will be added on to existing sweat. This results in a concentrated layer of sweat on the skin. In a humidity city, people sweat all the time throughout a day.

(2) The concentrated sweats will have higher concentrations of minerals and compounds (see the minerals and compounds discussed above). The concentrated sweat stays on the skin and clothing like a poisoning ointment for extended long hours. The concentrated minerals and compounds will move along sweat ducks or paths to reach the tissue, and thus raise the concentrations of respective minerals and compounds. In a hot and humid area, when the skin constantly sweats, it must allow minerals and compounds to move back to the tissue along the same paths faster. This is very different from in a cold weather where sweat is rare, can be dried faster, or cleaned up promptly so that minerals and compounds cannot easily get back to the tissue by diffusion. Completely dried sweat residues will have poor ability to diffuse back. However, toxic substances inside the skin or in the spaces formed by skin cells must be bad too.

(3) The net impact is that perspiration could not remove minerals and compounds but repeatedly create opportunities for concentrated sweat to cause toxic injury. This is in a contrast to perspiration in a cold area where there is no repeated opportunities for sweat to get back into the tissue.

(4) In a humid and hot environment, the kidneys are less actively involved in regulating the inorganic balance. Sine most of the body water is lost as sweat, a relatively small portion of the body fluid is processed by the kidneys. In a cold region, the kidneys in a person might process 4 litters of water. In the humid and hot region, the kidneys may process only a third to a half of the volume. Thus, the inorganic balance is greatly influenced by the weather-controlled perspiration process and the diffusing back process. Damage to the bone is inevitable.

(5) Impacts of concentrated sweat and sweat residues are realized slowly. Concentrated sweat stays on the skin or inner clothing like a poisoning ointment. If sweat is added to the skin repeatedly in a long time and eventually is dried, a toxic solid layer is formed on the skin. Potential impacts of sweat residues are not realized solely by a disturbed inorganic imbalance. We believe that concentrated sweat residues and solid sweat residues directly injure peripheral tissues slowly: they slowly damage skin cells, promote cell aging process, destroy capillaries, and cause skin inflammation. Toxic substances reaching the blood will increase systematic inflammation potential.
If we wash off sweat residues from the skin in an evening, we could collect a great deal of dirty and salt substances. We can assess their amounts by inspecting the color and taste of the wash-off water. That is why swimming can relieve joint pain and can gradually improve health.

(6) Temperature change can also make the situation worse. When temperature increases, the body sweats more. A lowered temperature make capillaries contract and thus reduces blood circulation and reduces the tissue capacity to clear minerals and toxic compounds. It may degrade micro-vascular system. Inflammation-driving products may affect the whole body.

(7) Sweat residues can affect joints for several reasons: Joints are the parts that sweat the most due to more heat joints generate from physical activities. High concentration minerals and compounds nearly joints can conveniently find their ways to the bones of joints due to their blood vessel arrangements. Moreover, minerals and compounds that get into blood circulation will have more impacts on joint bones because they directly interfere with inorganic balance. Chinese Medicine holds that kidneys directly impact bone health. Sweating is a parallel function to the kidneys, and all matters in concentrated sweat residues staying on the skin and inner clothing can diffuse back to the blood stream and thus interfere with the kidney function....

As reflected in her own personal experience, Guolin used Qigong to save her own life. She had her uterus removed in 1949. She was found to have cancer spread to her blade. By using her own Qigong, she not only got rid of her cancer completely, but also got rid of chronic diseases such as heart disease, arthritis, and high blood pressure. Her own miracle resulted in the immense popularity of her exercise. She provided Qigong lectures to help cancer terminal patients in many large cities in many provinces in China. He overworked her remaining life until her death in 1983. Some of her books are printed for 12 times. Her Qigong is practiced in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Well Known Relaxation Techniques

Relaxation is one of core healing components. We provide a list of well known devices for helping you to achieve relaxation.

Autogenic Training. In autogenic training, you learn to concentrate on the physical sensations of warmth, heaviness, and relaxation in different parts of your body. While it is difficult to learn, it is the most powerful tool.

Deep Breathing or Breathing Exercises. This technique involves focusing on taking slow, deep, even breaths. The major effect is when mind is moved away from strained parts, that part natrually become relaxed.

Guided Imagery. For this technique, people are taught to focus on pleasant images to replace negative or stressful feelings. Guided imagery may be self-directed or led by a practitioner or a recording.

Biofeedback-Assisted Relaxation. Biofeedback techniques measure body functions and give you information about them so that you can learn to control them. Biofeedback-assisted relaxation uses electronic devices to teach you to produce changes in your body that are associated with relaxation, such as reduced muscle tension. It may be useful in some situtions, but it cannot have the sensitivity to measure relaxation in particular parts of the body.

Progressive Relaxation. This technique, also called Jacobson relaxation or progressive muscle relaxation, involves tightening and relaxing various muscle groups. Progressive relaxation is often combined with guided imagery and breathing exercises.

Self-Hypnosis. In self-hypnosis programs, people are taught to produce the relaxation response when prompted by a phrase or nonverbal cue (called a ?suggestion?).
